NFE® is based on the Trigenics® Functional Neurology Treatment System. It combines three interactive modalities — Autogenics, Myogenics, and Neurogenics — that work together during treatment.

NFE® is not facial massage, and it is not facial exercise. It is a functional neurology-based treatment system that can also complement facial massage, exercise and other aesthetic treatments.

Autogenics uses controlled biofeedback and deep breathing to encourage an autonomic muscular relaxation response.

During treatment, this can create a heightened sense of relaxation and well-being while helping the facial muscles become more receptive to the treatment process.

Myogenics involves focused manual manipulation of specific facial muscles in motion.

By working with individual muscles and their movement, the treatment is designed to influence muscle length and tension.

This may produce an immediate change in how a facial muscle functions and can contribute to visible lifting and repositioning of the face.

Neurogenics uses neuromuscular reflexes together with active participation from the client.

The goal is to encourage improved communication between the brain and facial muscles, helping restore optimal muscle function.

This interactive component is particularly important when there are differences or asymmetries in facial muscle function.
