“...I feel like everyone noticed the difference in my face right away...”
Miriam Codesal, a pharmacist with Modern Care Pharmacy said, “Before the NFE®, I had a tired face all of the time even though I was rested and had enough energy, so I was seeking to look refreshed,” she said, noting that, “Right away I noticed a difference in my face with the NFE®. Dr. Urbina and I first looked into the mirror where I saw I had one eyebrow higher than the other and one side of my mouth was lower. The doctor explained there is a stronger and a weaker side of the face and that with exercise, she could teach me to make my face even,” Codesal said. “Now my eyebrows are even, and the mouth right away is even too; the side that was dropping is now even.”
“I tried the home facial exercises but I need more practice with the doctor. I feel like everyone noticed the difference in my face right away and I feel more confident,” said Codesal. “Also, the doctor said the facial would only last a week, but it lasted a lot longer than that – I can see it.”
Codesal said the NFE® is great. “Sometimes you do facials and you have surgery, but this is a new approach.”
Codesal is originally from Argentina, a pharmacist for 15 years and has been in America for years. Although she said she loved Argentina because it’s a beautiful country, she was tired of the instability so she came to America to accomplish her dreams and the dreams of her children where her daughter has become an English teacher, graduating from USC. Codesal’s company provides “Seniors Access to Care.”

“...Dr. Urbina makes you feel comfortable – it’s a lot of fun...”
Joyce Hunter, a former kitchen designer with Reborn Cabinets, and a designer of decorative candle holders, tried the NFE® because she was getting, “Little smile lines,” and wanted to look better.
“I really enjoyed the NFE® but wasn’t expecting it to be as effective as it was, but you can really see a difference,” she said.
On the home exercises, Joyce said she practiced some of them, “but I prefer coming into the office and doing the exercises. I get a lift in my eyebrow that has been a little lower, and the exercises seem to help with the smile lines, making them less distinctive. My concerns were
the smile lines and little lines over my lips,” she said.
“I encourage others to give the NFE® a try. You get to laugh at yourself, and you see immediate results. Being at Dr. Urbina’s is a lot of fun; Dr. Urbina makes you feel comfortable and the Oxygen Facial is really nice too.”

“...the principle of exercising facial muscles – it’s working for me...”
Cristyl Meyers, an attorney, was looking for something to give her face more symmetry and improve the underlying muscle tone of her face as an alternative to invasive procedures.
“I was absolutely shocked at the improvement after the NFE®. The corners of my mouth have not for many years been aligned, but following Dr Urbina’s treatment, they were aligned, and there was a lift at the corners of my mouth,” she said. “Additionally, I have suffered a number of TIA’s, which actually affected my right eye as well as the right side of my face; Dr Urbina’s manipulations lifted my right eye. I was sceptical at first, but was amazed by the before-and-after. In fact, after the session was completed, I asked if Dr Urbina had considered working with stroke patients to restore facial symmetry, which is the drooping of the facial muscles that affects the appearance of facial features. I think applying this to the facial features is a fascinating concept,” she said.
On following through on the home exercises, Cristyl said she has not been 100 percent consistent, but after two weeks from the first treatment she saw improvement. “After two weeks, I saw that the corners of my lips were still horizontally aligned. “I would tell others that this treatment that is available, as far as I can see, is without any negative side effects on the principle of exercising facial muscles – it’s working for me,” Meyers said.
